Friday 22nd January, 2021.

GREETINGS
Happy New Year! We welcome you to a great and a brand new year in Jesus name. We appreciate your seamless, consistent and unconditional love and cooperation. We also salute our new parents for enrolling their children at Majestic Global School. May our good God shower your families with His blessings.

RESUMPTION
The school, which was supposed to resume on 4th January 2021, resumed on 18th January, due to the government’s decision to reduce the spread of the devastating CoViD-19 pandemic, and this has created a two-week learning vacuum which we parents and the school must find a way to cover.

SCHOOL FEES
Prompt payment of school fees makes it easier for us to run as a school. While we thank the parents who have balanced up their wards’ school fees, we implore parents who are yet to pay to do so before the 2weeks grace period elapses on the 1st of February, 2021. After the expiration of the 2-week grace period, a clearance card shall be issued to every pupil that has balanced up for access into their classrooms.

OUR ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The Second Term academic calendar is now short of two weeks due to the postponement of schools’ resumption date. However, in a bid to keep up with our scheme of work, we have decided to extend our closing time from 2:00pm to 3:00pm from Monday to Thursday, while Friday remains 1:00pm.
A detailed copy of Our Academic Calendar for this term is attached to this bulletin.

WELCOME-BACK ASSESSMENTS
The purpose of the Welcome-Back Tests is to help class teacher know the academic level of each pupil in the class and grade them on resumption, then develop a program to help the low grade pupils do better by the end of the term. The Welcome-Back Tests: Thursday 21st through Monday 24th January, 2021.

HOME ASSISTANCE
It is a known fact that 90% of pupils who performs better academically enjoy encouragements and assistance from home. We plead for more parents’ involvement in the pupils’ academic process. Apart from ensuring they do their homework themselves, they should also be made to read their books always.

HANDWRITING AND READING
As part of our USP, henceforth, the pupils would be assessed and graded in Handwriting and Reading during their Mid-Term and End of Term Examination. We advise every pupil not to take these two ‘subjects’ with levity as their scores in them may affect their overall result.

PRIMARY FIVE EXAMINATION
Our Primary 5 pupils have already been registered for TUMA (The Ultimate Mathematics Ambassadors), we shall also register them for NCEE, Airforce / Command Schools Entrance Examinations. Our Saturday lessons are to prepare our Primary 5 pupils for the major external examinations. Please, ensure your wards attend the lessons.

This all important meeting will be coming up on Saturday 27th February, 2021. The venue and other details shall be communicated to you in due time. Please, make it an important date in your diary.
